Prototype coil cars seen on the rails with Apex pattern walkways are more likely to have paint on their walkways. So we painted these walkways to show you paint will stick to this stainless steel. We used Scalecoat paint and Microscale #MC-4024 decals on this car. If you are going to paint your walkway, as long as your paint is not too thick, the paint will not fill the slots in the walkway.
