Chances are, prototype coil cars seen on the rails that have Morton pattern walkways do not have paint on their walkways. Paint does not stick well to their gavlanized metal. But we painted these walkways to show you paint will stick to this stainless steel. We used Scalecoat paint and Microscale #MC-4025 decals on this car. If you are going to paint your walkway, as long as your paint is not too thick, the paint will not fill the holes in the walkway.
